Meet Our Staff
Jayce Reed, Board-Certified Physician Assistant
Jayce is a board-certified physician assistant who graduated with honors from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale and also graduated from the University of Central Florida (UCF) with a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology.
During his studies at UCF in Orlando, Jayce obtained his license as a certified nursing assistant and volunteered as a medical scribe for a local pulmonologist. While obtaining his Associates degree at Palm Beach State College, he served as a supplemental instructor of General Physics and also participated in a summer internship at the West Palm Beach VA Medical Center.
In 2008, he relocated to West Palm Beach after serving five years in the United States Navy as an Aircrew Rescue Swimmer and Helicopter Mechanic. In his spare time, Jayce prefers the outdoors and his main hobbies include spear fishing and surfing with his family.
Robin Madden, Chief MRI Technologist
Robin has had a fervent interest in imaging since she had an x-ray as a child. At age 19, she enrolled at Palm Beach Community College majoring in Radiologic Technology where she focused her studies on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and graduated with honors. She became licensed by the State of Florida and ARRT.
Robin spent the next four years as the Lead MRI Technologist at Palms West Open MRI in Belle Glade, Florida. While employed there, she saw a great void in the community for even further specialization of imaging, namely neurologically concentrated MRI. Robin knew she could make the most of her abilities elsewhere to fill this need.
She has been a part of our lineup of professionals since 2005 and is using her talents to produce the most diagnostically relevant MRIs obtainable. She currently holds the position of Chief MRI Technologist at our ICAMRL Accredited Magnetic Resonance Laboratory, North Palm MRI. While MRIs may seem routine these days, Robin makes sure all of her patients feel exceptional.
Robin Richards, Practice Administrator
Robin joined the Spine Center team in February 2017, as Billing Manager. She quickly showed everyone that she was capable of so much more. When the time came she took over as Practice Administrator and the team couldn’t be happier with the work she continues to do.
As a medical office administrator with more than 20 years of experience, she has worked for medical doctors and insurance companies alike, from home health care to auto insurance, and several spine specialists. Her main goal, is to make sure everyone on her team and in the practice has an effective and efficient work environment, and that each patient receives the service and treatment they need.
When she’s not in her office here at the practice you can easily find her running around town, (usually to the Gardens Mall) with her two boys, reading science fiction books, or planning her next trip to ride some epic roller coasters.
Ivorys Valdes, Legal Liaison
Ivorys always knew she wanted to pursue a career in the healthcare industry. After graduating high school she went on to Florida Atlantic University and achieved a Bachelors of Health Services.
Ivorys joined The Spine Center team in January 2016 as the New Patient Coordinator after having worked for a personal injury attorney. With her unique skills and attention to detail she took over the Legal Liaison position in June 2017.
In her time outside of the office you will find her either shopping at her favorite stores, reading, watching Game of Thrones, or spending time with her family and fur babies.
Lisa Westover-Rivera, Surgical Technologist
Lisa works on the surgical team as the Surgical Technologist. She received her Certification of Surgical Technology in 2015 from Southeastern College, and prior to that she was a Certified EMT with the Fire Department of New York for 13 years.
She joined the team in June 2016 and has almost 15 years of medical experience. Lisa is an integral part of the surgical staff at The Spine Center and works with each and every procedure patient ensuring that they are comfortable and cared for upon entering our facility.
Outside of the operating room one can most likely find her with her family and friends spending time outdoors; most likely on the water – whether that’s at the beach, fishing, paddle boarding or even hiking.
